About the album
As Rolando Villazón and Russian soprano Anna Netrebko garner increasingly ecstatic reviews for their onstage partnership – in Roméo et Juliette, Manon and La Traviata – here is a chance to see some of that theatrical magic in Donizetti’s delightful and ever-popular comedy L’elisir d’amore, recorded live at the Wiener Staatsoper in April 2005.
